Music on Talk Radio!

SWOP East staff have been gathering music permissions for XBN, our internet radio show at blogtalk radio: www.blogtalkradio.com/swopeast or www.xxbn.net

Lots of fantastic acts have give us permission to use their tunes. This week I got the ok from international pop-punk veterans The Queers, and Flav & Mass Giorgini, as well as master DJ Girl Talk and local heroes Midtown Dickens, Future Kings of Nowhere, Eberhardt, Red Collar, and Beloved Binge.

Johnstown, Pennsylvania residents Endless Mike and The Beagle Club also gave their permission, and O left them out of the lists above because I have something extra-special to say about them. Ok, I actually have a few things to say about them:

1. “Mr. Miller’s Opus” is one of the best songs ever. Confirmed.
2. They will be touring soon, with a 15 piece band.
3. I will see them again on June 11th, in Chapel Hill.

My colleague Jill has garnered approval from several artists as well. Her outstanding work was my inspiration. I hope you get a chance to listen to our radio program. And, if you dig our musical interludes, then show the artists that you appreciate their support!
